If your pet is not obese or hypertrigliceridaemic, they should be able to tolerate a diet between 10-15% fat on a dry matter basis and our treats are ~8% fat on a dry matter basis.
Without knowing specifically how much fat your pet can tolerate with its condition, we ask that you refer to your vet to see if treats with 8% fat on a dry matter basis are suitable and can be incorporated into their diet.
They're actually two grape sized glands under their tail that are scent glands. They're what dogs sniff when they greet each other. But they get blocked regularly!
They are a bit on the whiffy side for us lol, but our Sophie loves these and they have helped with her sometimes sensitive gut issues as she gets older.

My dog Bailey, has has anal gland problems for years, I had to have the vet express them constantly apart from it was extremely painful for him, but he was unwell for days after, but now I find since using this product it has really helped him..
My dog prefers the chicken flavoured ones but still eats the salmon even though he's not much of a fish eater
AJ loves his treats however he is still worried about the gland issue , it is early days so we will see what the future holds.
