A sloth giving birth is breathtaking! 🦥😳

Someone just captured this video of a sloth giving birth. And it’s incredible. But the world’s shortest bungee jump is now raising more questions than answers! 😱

For a notoriously slow moving sloth, birth happens fast. Yet because it’s been so rarely observed, scientists aren’t sure if the umbilical bungee cord is a deliberate evolutionary step or just a very fortunate co-incidence for this new mum and bub.

Either way, let’s just be happy things worked out for these two!
